Although I enjoy cinnamon and mulled wine, I prefer not to have their scent fill my home during May and June. The silver lining is that Yankee Candle currently offers a variety of summer-themed candles at half price due to a clearance sale.

Moreover, Ocean Air receives highly positive reviews from customers.

A reviewer mentions they enjoy nearly all of Yankee Candle’s fragrances,” adding, “this particular scent boasts a delightful freshness and cleanliness.

Someone else mentions that it evokes various childhood recollections.

They mentioned, ‘This is my go-to choice for spring and summer. It has a crisp, refreshing aroma. It reminds me of family trips to the beach during my childhood. Both candles and wax melts offer a strong fragrance throw with a slow burning rate, allowing me to enjoy them for extended periods.’

To ensure your candle lasts as long as possible, aim for efficient burning practices. During its initial use, allow the molten wax to reach the rim of the container; this prevents tunneling, which can lead to wasted wax due to buildup along the sides. Before each subsequent lighting, be sure to cut the wick down to approximately an eighth of an inch to maintain control over the flame size and minimize soot production.

And be sure to avoid keeping them in drafty areas since wind makes the flames dance around, causing uneven and faster burning. Small practices like this can significantly extend your enjoyment time, regardless of whether you’re using a Yankee Candle or another brand.
