When the temperature rises, quality windows can significantly help in preventing extreme heat or cold from entering your house. However, upgrading every window can be quite costly. This is why Michigan Screen and Window is reintroducing their services.
The “Widows 4 Windows” initiative we initially informed you about towards the end of last year.

In our Windows 4 Widows initiative, our entire team got together with a single question: How can we contribute to a worthy cause? Each of us gives back differently, but since we have expertise in installing windows, this seemed like an ideal way for us to make a difference,” explained Ryan Dalley, who owns part of the company.
“It began as a humorous remark—’Windows 4 Widows.’ There’s a certain rhyme to it. It sounds smooth when you say it out loud. However, after some consideration, we realized that
is
a worthy group of individuals, particularly widows of military veterans. Assisting them during times of need, right where they face those challenges, holds great importance for us.
Last year’s inaugural recipient was Emalyn Twist, whose 1923 house in Grand Rapids underwent window replacements throughout the entire property. Dalley recalls Twist requesting a hug from him once everything was completed.
That’s quite an emotionally charged moment when you recognize that you’ve made a positive difference in someone else’s life and found a means to contribute. It holds great significance for our group, and it’s incredibly enjoyable that we were able to experience this collectively.

Any military veteran widow in the West Michigan region who requires new windows is qualified for assistance. The company executives aim to carry out the installation at some point in August, and they mention that their teams are eager to repeat this project.
