Nothing compares to the satisfaction of a great

It’s truly outstanding. Using some ingenuity and foresight, TayBeepBoop managed to replicate an expensive $1600 furniture item from West Elm using just a few IKEA side tables.

Each table costs just $50 each, making this an even better pricing option, we’d say! You’re looking at savings of approximately $1450 here! Quite a good bargain indeed.

“I hadn’t planned on doing this, but I discovered a $1600 duplicate at IKEA,” stated TayBeepBoop. “Last year, I purchased these for only $50 each. Recently, I acquired three of them with the intention of connecting them to go around my sofa, providing me with both a small side table and a rear table.”

TayBeepBoop held on to these three IKEA side tables for seven months until she moved into a place with a living room large enough for both the couch and her side table dream. This has been a long time in the making, but it was totally worth the wait.

The IKEA side tables in question were the HOLMERUD models with an oak finish.

She joined the three IKEA side tables and placed them along the sides and back of her sofa. This arrangement gave them an appearance very similar to the Wallace Modular Corner Console.
West Elm
. So genius.

TikTok was highly impressed with TayBeepBoop. “Oh my gosh, I’m going to try this out at my new place,” remarked TikTok user Monica.

Another TikTok user commented, “This is exactly the video I had to watch; thanks so much,” beneath the clip.

If you want to try this hack yourself, you’ll want to measure the height of your couch and make sure it is the same height as the side tables for the best effect.
