Craig recently spoke with
Better Homes & Gardens
, where he disclosed that his sewing room has been transformed into a studio. “Recently, I revamped my sewing space to serve as a studio because I aim to break down both imaginary and actual boundaries in creation and craftsmanship. Therefore, each week, I will acquire a new skill and share it with all of you,” he shared.

And embroidery takes place here, now that he converted his initial sewing area into a kitchen. “This is where the magic occurs,” he stated, as shown in the video above.
However, it seems like this new area might provide Craig with greater liberty to use his hands and take on various tasks.

And fully welcoming the milder climate as a result. He confessed, “I’m experiencing quite a gardening boom right now.” “With it being spring, it feels like my blissful spot is out in the garden.”
“As soon as you spot the shoots emerging from the earth, you’re completely captivated,” he went on. “Eating produce that you’ve grown yourself is simply amazing. I can’t explain why, but I truly adore it.”

The co-owner of By The Way recently had an interview with

, where he disclosed that Sewing Down South is
teaming up with the department store, Belk
, along with their private label, Crown & Ivy, to produce over 100 items of clothing for men, women, and children.
I’ve always wanted to create garments,” he stated. “Nobody taught me the process; they just showed me how to sew a cushion in home economics class. However, being able to launch a clothing line is like fulfilling a lifelong wish… This collection represents my comeback to Charleston. Crown & Ivy truly grasps the soft color scheme and way of life that I adore in this town.
